Our goal for the CCS Garden Program is to provide your plants with maximum levels of nutrition which will provide healthy food for your family. We and our children are challenged on every side with health issues, but the garden is a great place to start protecting your family’s health by growing nutrient rich vegetables for your family table.
Healthy food starts with healthy soil, supplying the high levels of trace minerals our bodies need to help our immune systems function like they should, and superior to supplements. A proper balance of trace minerals enhances the flavor and nutrition content of all plants and vegetables.
We know that the type and health of the microbes in the soil have a direct relation to the microflora in our digestive tract. When you feed the microbes in your garden with healthy soil amendments and cover crops, the vegetables that soil produces has a positive effect on digestion.
The moment a vegetable is harvested the enzymes it possesses begin to degrade. These enzymes help our digestive tract access the minerals the fruit contains. Eaten soon after picking at the optimum point of ripeness is superior in nutritional content than any shipped to and purchased at the grocery store.
